  • Conversation: Corporate clients need to rapidly develop fluency for compelling business reasons. Students are required to do most of the speaking in class. This differs radically from the traditional classroom approach where students spend less than 10% of class time generating phrases and sentences.
  • cross-Cultural Communication: A language is of limited use without knowing cultural factors, tips, and pitfalls to avoid. We train students to use proper foreign customs and understand nuances of the target culture.
  • Written Business Communications: We train students in the use of business letters, email, meeting agendas/protocol, policy writing, procedures/regulations, marketing/sales.
  • Specialized Vocabulary: We train students in the correct use of the vocabulary particular to their professional environment. For vocabulary acquisition, we apply accelerated training techniques scientifically proven to improve learning efficiency.
  • Interviewing Skills: We train students to ask the right questions, fully understand the answers, and effectively evaluate the results of interviews in the language at task.
  • Negotiations: It is not easy to form international alliances when the cultural rules of the game are not understood. Students learn to understand when to be aggressive, listen, or compromise in our negotiations training.
  • Accent Reduction: We reduce the students´ accent in a relatively short time through oral drills and then highlight gains and areas for improvement.
  • Composition and Style: Training in formal writing.
  • Literary and Cultural Readings: Background readings to facilitate immersion in the language and culture.
  • Effective Presentation Skills: Training and practice on how to make an effective presentation to a foreign audience.
  • Social Business Language: The language and culture of introductions, social occasions, dinner engagements, and other settings.
