In our unique after school and summer language immersion programs, children enjoy an enriching, fun experience while developing language and critical thinking skills. Our natural, open-ended multisensory approach consists of visual, auditory and physical practice in a language immersion environment which stimulates language acquisition. They will learn easily by seeing, hearing and putting a language in action. A combination of a state-of-the-art methodology and materials -including story videos, vocabulary DVDs, CDs, scripts and guides to literally surround children with new language- ensure a natural language learning experience. Reading and writing practice is provided for children above preschool grades.

2012 SCHEDULE

This program aims at developing language skills with an emphasis on the development of oral interaction to give students a practical command of the language. Through directions given in the language of study -whether it is Spanish or another foreign language- along with demonstrations, children gradually enrich their second language vocabulary and structure, which they use at the end of the activities to discuss the projects they have worked on during each session. This program consists of three different age groups; Pre K & K, Elementary and Middle/High School.
Students are placed in their age appropriate group upon registration. The first class is FREE in order to evaluate the students proficiency. This is done to make sure this program is a perfect fit between student and lesson plan. We recommend students who are beginners to be placed in the same group as intermediate students since they´re specific levels tend to compliment each other during the class. Students who are advanced are better off in a customized class. The FREE trial class is then counted as one of the 9 classes in the session should the student decide to enroll. If student decides not to enroll there will be no payment obtained from the individual other than the registration fee.
Our instructors are certified and trained in the proven Lingua Methodology. They incorporate the class materials with additional language learning tools in order to make the class fun and dynamic. This also helps individuals learn through their different senses. We are proud to say that Lingua Language Center has won the "Best Language School of Weston" award for the past 3 consecutive years. We thrive in making each students learning experience beneficial and successful.
Our children´s programs are designed to involve children in the learning process in an active, fun way during their breakthrough years for language acquisition, while their language development abilities are at a peak. We follow the "see-listen-and-do to learn" technique, which engages children´s natural ability to learn languages. They learn easily by seeing and hearing a language in action.

Private Tutoring
Our private tutoring for children is designed to your child´s potential, academic needs, and personal interests. We focus on multiple school subjects, such as language arts, English as a Second Language, foreign languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, and Chinese among others), math, social studies, science, music, and test preparation. We work on an individualized schedule. Also available at discount rates with tutors who are college or university students majoring in Education.
Private Tutoring is offered during regular school days and on Saturdays, 12 months a year.
