ABOUT US Lingua Language Center (LLC), an          accredited private school by the NPSAA, is also an internationally recognized language and cultural training provider and translation interpretation services provider. It is acknowledged for the efficacy of its language programs and professionalism in the management of translation and interpretation projects.

STAFF Our language trainers are carefully chosen based on their degrees. They all possess Bachelor's degrees and many possess MAs and PhDs and expertise in education, linguistics or a related field, and accreditation as private school instructors. They are specifically trained in the Lingua Methodology. Our translators and interpreters possess native fluency in the target language and subject matter.

 
 

Our President, Andreina B. Ojeda, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela, and her Master of Arts degree in International Studies from The Monterey Institute of International Studies in California. She is proficient in several languages and experienced in language and culture training, and translation and interpretation. She has participated in research on learning and created alliances with professionals in the field throughout the world.

 

Milagros (Milly) Masgarrevy
Language Program Director

Milly was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She studied in Saint Joseph’s Convent in Surrey, England and holds a degree in English with a major in Literature and Poetry from Cambridge University. She is certified by the Private Schools National Teacher Certification Program. She has over 25 years of experience teaching English and Spanish as second language with great ability to motivate adults as well as children to learn a new language with confidence, achieving great results. Milagros has been working for Lingua Language Center as an Independent Instructor since 2001. She also held an administrative position as Children Program's Director, later as Admissions Director, and currently is as director of Department .
 
 
Johana Galavis
Bilingual Summer Camp Coordinator
Johana has an Associate’s Degree from Broward Community College in Psychology and is currently attending Nova Southeastern University, seeking a major in Psychology and a minor in Marketing. She first became involved with our Bilingual Summer Camp in 2003 as a camp counselor, showing a great devotion to work with our campers and commitment to teamwork. She is always on the look for new techniques that enhance our campers’ learning experience.
 
Bettina Eastman
Public Relations Director
Bettina was born in Leipzig, Germany. After WWII her family moved to El Salvador, where she learned Spanish. Three years later they moved to Colombia, where she studied in an American School. At 18 years old, Bettina was proficient in German, Spanish and English. She earned a Masters Degree in Graphic Arts at Humbolt University in Berlin, and a degree in Political Science at Freie University in Berlin. While studying for her degrees she started to work in Berlitz School of Languages teaching English, German and Spanish. She worked in Berlitz for five years after graduation. Once in Florida, Bettina continued to follow her call to teach. Bettina has been working for LLC for two years and currently works also as Lingua’s Public Relations Director.
 
Sheila Segnalini
Translations Department Director
Sheila was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She obtained a Degree in Modern Languages from Universidad Metropolitana, Venezuela. She started working as a bilingual teacher in preschool, elementary and high school while studying to be a translator. She obtained her Translator Degree from Berlitz School of Languages, where she started working as a translator instructor. Later she obtained a Certificate in Translation with Special Merit from Words Language Services in Dublin, Ireland. Sheila has been living in the US for over 10 years, where she has become knowledgeable about the North American culture and language while keeping her Latin American roots and Spanish language intact. Currently, she is Lingua’s Translation and Interpretation Department Director.
