YEAR-ROUND ADULT GROUPSURVIVAL LEVEL Description: Three-level program. Each level consists of 18 contact hours and 9 lab or virtual lab hours, to be completed in 6-week periods. It aims at preparing the student to participate in basic conversation. Vocabulary acquisition and structure recognition play a crucial role in the program. Techniques used to develop listening-comprehension and conversational skills include oral drills, repetition, the use of audio and video programs, pictures, flash cards, realia (real life objects) and other materials.
