Part-Time English Program (PTEP)
- Classes start every Monday
- Minimum age to participate in the program is 15
- Placement test available online, upon receipt of application for enrollment
- Certificate of English as Second Language (ESL) upon completion of Level Seven
Little to no experience with prior English studies. Students will learn to exchange basic information about themselves and others, activities and daily routines.
Students with some prior exposure to English studies. Students learn to express themselves in short conversations, read and write short messages and text, and improve their understanding of most common words and expressions.

Focus on building vocabulary and improving speaking skills while mastering elementary grammatical structures
Students continue to build vocabulary, improve fluency, improve understanding of overall content of lectures and multimedia on common topics, enhance reading and writing skills and use of more advanced grammatical structures.
High IntermediateRead more
Students will continue to improve listening comprehension and will be able to read and understand most short stories/basic novels. They will improve speaking skills to be able to give clear and detailed explanations on common topics. The focus will be made on more advanced writing skills, such as reports and letters.
Students are able to understand a wide variety of multimedia and conversational English, including academic language and technical instructions. Students will work on actively engaging in conversation and expressing themselves more fluently and clearly. Students will improve writing skills on a more academic level, working on detailed and well-structured essays, on complicated topics.
IEP 7A & 7B
Students at this level, which is divided into two 12-week sessions, will receive training on the academic skills necessary to be successful in a program of higher education. This level focuses on advanced conversation, pronunciation, listening and reading comprehension, essay writing with special emphasis placed on the structure and type of essay. Students will work on developing advanced critical thinking skills through discussion.

Advanced Business English is a two-part preparatory course (two sessions of 12-weeks each) for international business executives, professionals and business administration students who are or will be conducting business in the global market. Students will improve upon existing Business language skills by developing specific workplace vocabulary and enhancing the presentation and public speaking, through professional communication methods, while fostering an understanding of how the student can apply these professional language skills to succeed in their chosen fields
